Distributed Loads

Distributed loads are applied over an edge, face, or volume. They more closely represent physical loading when force is spread over a finite area or length.

The solver converts distributed loads into equivalent nodal forces using element shape functions and numerical integration. Correct load direction, magnitude, and unit consistency are essential.
